5 cakes iced and the fisherman needs a head the poor man but he is almost complete with his dog and looking ready for fish. I'll be up and ready for it all tomorrow with a major day of sugar modelling and cake decorating and maybe when I stop for some tea I'll put some pictures up of the dumb bell cake :-)

Time to put the dumb bells together this morning and finish this cake off ready for delivery tomorrow morning.. then on with the next one which I think will be the fishing cake next :-)

Hi everyone! Well such a busy this week it is going to be non-stop with the caking. Took delivery of my custom cake board yesterday so very excited about how that is going to look. Hope to catch up again soon with some cake news but off to make a stethoscope now for a middle of the week cake :-)

A 2 tier heart cake for an 18th birthday celebration from a design from my website with the sugar models and accents in her favourite colours of lilac and pink. So that's all the cakes for this week apart from a little box of cupcakes tomorrow. Very busy and productive week. Thanks for checking out the cakes this week x

This cake is for 2 young boys who love their quad bikes. It is a huge 12" x 12" cake as they wanted a bike with rider. It is all sugar decorations and the cake was built up with more cake and bits carved off to create a rugged scene. The quad is of course a toy but the boys get one each too! Their mum is very excited about seeing their reaction

Hello all that is what I call a mad Monday! There is still a cake in the oven and I started at 5 am (ok little cheating as I did have to leave the house for a while to do a delivery) of a Valentines cake and get supplies! Very tired and the job board is v. full indeed but v. productive day. Another lovely bride booked today and 2 more cakes been added to this week's list.. If anyone is bored there are always jobs in my kitchen :-)

Christening cake being collected this morning then on with icing a cake for Monday. Time to write up the list for next week.. and it's a very long one! So far we have a large quad bike style cake for 2 boys, a number 2, a 10" celebration cake, a chocolate cigarello cake along with a gift box of wheat free cupcakes, a christening cake and this carrot cake delivery Monday. Going to be a very busy day again. Carrot cake to bake for a last minute order for Monday and going to start on a kitchen reshuffle before getting on with icing boards and prep for next week. 2 cake collections today so glad the snow stayed away :-)

I delivered this cake today for a repeat customer another gardening theme with lots of little sugar rose buds. It is for his mum's 90th birthday and I just loved the end of the message which was what she used to say to them as children....

A lovely busy week so far. 3 cakes have already gone out and I have 3 cakes that I have iced today and I baked one more for a last minute celebration cake for Saturday too. Just taped a pretty pink rose spray together for one of the cakes after making lots of leaves yesterday - will be a big decorating day tomorrow :-)
